On Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. the Exeter Community Library, led by Ben Sneeringer (a Native Berks Countian, library supporter, and avid film enthusiast) and Executive Director, Mallory Hoffman, will be hosting their first film in a yearlong film series entitled “The Best of the 2000’s: 2000-2009”.

Sneeringer and Hoffman originally worked together last year on the highly successful and well-attended Film Forward Film Series event through Sundance, the well-reputable organization that supports and advances the work of independent films.or The series explored films’ unique ability to tell stories that ignite meaningful conversations, which was also the catalyst for creating the new film series for 2015-2016.

The series is FREE and open to the public and will be held on the second Friday of each month beginning at 7pm. Light refreshments will be provided by a generous sponsorship by Chick-Fil-A Exeter.

Please call or email the library for more information at 610-406-9431 or exetercl@berks.lib.pa.us .
