Clay on Main is pleased to present an exhibition of folk art by the late Doris Fry and Jeff Dietrich.
This exhibit will feature a collection of Fry’s work featuring a variety of early American folk art style, such as primitive painting, reverse glass painting, tole and needlework.
Jeff Dietrich, lives and works in an 18th century log house – a farmstead where the everyday ware of the earliest inhabitants would have been made of red clay dug from nearby meadows. His current work is inspired by the themes and motifs of the potters of eighteenth and nineteenth century rural Pennsylvania. His studio is Log House Pottery in Kempton, PA. David Fry will performing music at the opening reception
The exhibition runs now until Sunday, Oct. 18.
Clay on Main is a 501(c) (3) non-profit artists’ cooperative, located at 313 Main St in the historic village of Oley. The gallery hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays, or by appointment.
