Blush & Brushes Art Studio, located in Shillington, is offering a new oasis amidst the hectic and stressful bustle of everyday life. Victoria Parisi, owner of Blush & Brushes, strongly believes that art, and being creative, is the best stress, anxiety and depression reliever there is. It has been proven that simple creativity, such as coloring alone, takes us back to our childhood and brings our minds and thoughts to simpler times, and can be as therapeutic as meditation or yoga.
This is the environment that Victoria has strived to create for adults and teens of Berks County. As you enter Blush & Brushes studio you are greeted with music and the smiling faces of other participants. Guests have the opportunity to bring their favorite wine and snacks, and are given wine glasses to drink from. Complimentary fresh brewed organic tea, in colorful mugs, is an option as well. Once settled with a beverage and snack of choice, and having chosen a seat with friends or loved ones, guests are guided step-by-step through the painting of the night. Victoria strongly encourages creative freedom, as you choose and mix your own colors, and add any details you desire.
As guests laugh, listen to music and converse, their paintings come to life. In roughly three hours, guests sit in front of their own masterpieces, having accomplished something great with little to no experience, and in a calm, stress-free environment.
Victoria is entering 2016 with a plan to offer new classes that require little to no experience at an affordable rate, including pet portraits, acrylic painting, watercolor painting and sculpture workshops. Some classes will be one night and some will last several weeks. All supplies are included, and the instructor will gladly answer any questions you have, also offering creative suggestions, tips and tricks.
Blush & Brushes is located in Shillington at 31 Catherine Street, on the third floor of the Fairy Silk Mills. The third floor of the building is available for business professionals, small business owners and artists to have their own studios or private offices. The large windows overlook the Shillington sunset nightly.
The public is invited to come experience creativity the way it was meant to be at Blush & Brushes Studio. Sign up for upcoming classes at Blush & Brushes Studio at BlushBrushArt.com and keep in touch at www.facebook.com/BlushBrushArt.
