Enjoy live music under the stars with The Paul Michael Band at the Neag Planetarium, located at the Reading Public Museum on Feb. 11. In addition to live music, there will be food and drink available for purchase by Masterpiece Events.

Having played the 2015 Red, White, and Blues Independence Day concert, RPM invited The Paul Michael Band back for Live Under The Stars! The members, Paul Michael, Jocko MacNelly, Spike McRae, Mike Sproat and Mike Anderson, come together from various jazz, blues and gospel groups to create the bands unique sound. The Philly-based Modern Blues band released their latest album “Finally” in February 2015.

The performance is the second part of a four night concert series called Live Under The Stars. Upcoming concerts include Caroline Reese & The Drifting Fifth on March 10, and The Hot Club of Reading, featuring Josh Taylor, on April 14.

To register for the event, call Lindsay Crist at 610-371-5850 x230. Pre-registering for the event is highly recommended due to the limited seating under the dome. The doors to the show open at 5:30 p.m. and music begins at 6:30 p.m. Live Under The Stars is presented by Hair On The Avenue.

The Reading Public Museum is supported in part by grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and is located at 500 Museum Road, Reading. The Museum is open daily 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit on the web at www.readingpublicmuseum.org.
