Garden Spot Village and Zole invite the public to enjoy creativity, camaraderie and a warm Starbucks beverage at a series of paint parties scheduled for this spring on the Garden Spot Village campus. The class learns step by step, using fast-drying acrylic paints, which make it easy to correct mistakes. Each participant works on the same image. At the end of the evening, each participant goes home with a painting that he or she has created.
On Saturday mornings, Garden Spot Village will also hold intergenerational paint parties. Open to people of any age, these parties are a way for kids and adults to share in the fun of creating a work of art of their very own.
On Friday, April 22, participants will paint a butterfly.
On Saturday, May 7, participants of all ages will paint a daisy and ladybug.
On Friday, May 27, participants will paint birds in a field.
The alcohol-free paint parties begin at 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays, and run about two hours.
The paint nights are open to the public, but class size is limited. The cost includes all art supplies, instruction and a Starbucks specialty drink from the Refresh coffee bar at Garden Spot Village. Payment, payable to “Garden Spot Village,” is due on arrival.
Garden Spot Village is located at 433 S. Kinzer Avenue, in New Holland. To reserve a space at the paint party, call 717-355-6000.
