The Hamburg Strand Theater is excited to welcome “Ryan and Friends” to our stage. This family friendly ventriloquist and comedy show will be bringing some laughter to our town on Sunday, April 17 at 1 p.m.

Ryan is joined by little Jakey, the Amish boy; Harold and Irene, retired farmers; Tiffany the tourist; and Ardie the skunk as they share their adventures in Berks and Lancaster Counties with some hilarious results!

Ryan and his friends present comical insights into our local culture with humorous tips for folks coming to visit, plus parody songs ranging from country to Broadway. With comedy topics ranging from shoo-fly pies to cow pies, the show is a must see for everyone from age three to 103 (folks older than this usually enjoy the show too)!

As a busy comedian performing throughout the United States and Canada, Ryan receives more than 500 performance invitations and only accepts 175 of these annually. No matter the venue, there are two things his audiences have come to expect: a flawlessly clean show and sidesplitting comedy!

He’s been around too. You may have seen him in the Cincinnati Inquirer, the History Channel or performing on Disney Cruise Lines. His comedy has taken him to six continents and his largest live performance to date was for more than 52,000 people.

This event is a fund raiser for the Hamburg Strand Theater to raise money to install a second bathroom on the main floor. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 610-562-3106, or visit www.hamburgpa.org and click on events. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the show begins at 1 p.m.
