Music in the Grove at St. John Center Lutheran Church will begin their 2016 summer season as they welcome Tim and Kim Craven on Sunday, June 12 at 6 p.m. Come and help open the new season, meet old friends and make welcome Tim and Kim Craven.
Tim and Kim Craven have entertained at the grove several times as The Craven Family with their sons, Oliver and Connor. Tim and Kim have been playing music together for more than 30 years. Graduating from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Tim is the pastor of Mellinger’s Lutheran Church in Schoeneck. They play original and traditional American folk music and bluegrass gospel music.
The program will be in the grove, so bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, the program will be indoors. St. John Center Lutheran Church is located at 599 Reading Road (Route 625) a few miles south of Bowmansville. Sandwiches, drinks and snacks will be available at 5 p.m. to benefit the youth. So, come on out, relax and join us for an evening of music with Tim and Kim Craven.
