St. John Center Lutheran Church “Music in the Grove” welcomes Sunnyside on Sunday, July 10 at 6 p.m. Come out and help us make them welcome. The Sunnyside bluegrass gospel harmonies are traditional bluegrass, using instruments such as rhythm guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and bass fiddle.

The Sunnyside members are of various church affiliations. They bring their testimonies of how the Lord changed their lives and are using their singing ministry to bless and encourage others. They are all employed in different occupations while enjoying their part time singing ministry. The members of the group tonight are Ken Cox, guitar and vocals; Randie Rineer, fiddle and vocals; Cleason Martin, mandolin and vocals; Tracy Rice, bass and vocals; and Max Allison, banjo and vocals.

Over the years, Sunnyside has sung at many churches and bluegrass festivals throughout the Tri-State area, Connecticut, New York, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

Since the program will be outdoors in the grove, bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, the program will be indoors. St. John Center Lutheran Church is located at 599 Reading Road (Route #625), East Earl, a few miles south of Bowmansville. There will be sandwiches and refreshments available to benefit the youth. A free will offering will be taken. Come on out, relax and join us for an evening of great gospel music.
