What do our pets do when we leave home to go to school or work in the morning?
“The Secret Life Of Pets” is an animated comedy adventure that answers that question with the tale of Max.
Max is a New York pooch with a loving owner, wonderful life, and lots of other animal friends. When Max’s owner returns home with a dog she’s adopted named Duke, Max’s world is changed forever.
Max goes from being the “only child” to having a “brother” in Duke, and although the two are completely different in every way, a special family-like relationship develops between the two when they become lost and separated from their owner. Events force them to help each other to achieve their goal of finding their way home.
Max and Duke’s journey home is threatened when they encounter a fluffy, floppy-eared bunny named Snowball, the leader of a pack of animals who have been abandoned by their owners.
But Max and Duke aren’t alone in their struggles, and help comes in the form of Max’s friends, other animal pets including a dog, a cat, a bird, and a guinea pig all of whom provide their assistance in a rescue effort to bring both Max and Duke home safe.
“The Secret Life Of Pets” runs 1 hour and 30 minutes, is rated PG, and stars Louis C.K., Kevin Hart, and Jenny Slate.
Rodeo’s Review:I like “The Secret Life Of Pets” because the animals are super cute. I think other kids should watch this movie since there are talking animals. I love this movie because all the animals save Max. That is why I think everyone should watch this funny movie. I would give this 4 popcorn boxes.
