Mennonite Heritage Center: The 43rd annual Apple Butter Frolic on Oct. 1 begins with a pancake and apple sausage breakfast 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Frolic runs 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with apple and Pennsylvania German foods, folk crafts, farming demonstrations, children’s activities, horse and wagon rides and a baking contest.
