December has crept up on us again. I think it has something to do with turkey induced comas on Thanksgiving making us oblivious, at least briefly, of the impending chaos that is Christmas. December 25th falling on Sunday this year opens up some interesting holiday show possibilities as some folks may get some extra days off to ponder the local music offerings. Many of our favorite bands and venues are listing Christmas or “Holiday” (if you must) parties this time. Maybe you can catch an act on the way to or from that “special” store you needed to visit. Remember that the gift of music is a special one and many of the local music stores like Bachman’s, Funky Frets, Penn Ave. Music, Meadowood Music or GLS Music, to mention a few, would love to help you find that special something for the musician (or aspiring musician) in your life! Get out and jam!
