Our Town Foundation in Hamburg will present Jeremiah James Live! at the Hamburg Strand Theater, 6 N. Fourth Street, Hamburg, on March 11. Concert proceeds benefit renovations to the theater.
Growing up in Kutztown, Jeremiah currently resides in southern Schuylkill County with his wife and four children. He attributes his passion for music to his father, who instilled a strong rooted love and respect for classic artists, and his grandmother who encouraged him to go after his dreams.
Jeremiah has been writing songs for about 15 years and has been touring with his band and recording his music for many years. In 2015, he and his band released a music video, “Everything”, which was filmed in Hamburg.
When asked why he chose Hamburg as a location for his video he stated, “It’s nostalgic and timeless. Aesthetic.”
Jeremiah is currently recording another album and is planning to come back to Hamburg to work on another music video, this time inside the Hamburg Strand Theater.
About the theater Jeremiah stated, “What an incredible place! It’s the most intimate venue around”.
Our Town Foundation is proud to bring Jeremiah James Live! to the Hamburg Strand Theater for the first time. The local singer and songwriter will begin performing at 9:30 p.m., doors open at 9 p.m. A meet and greet will take place immediately following the show.
The Hamburg Strand Theater, located at 6 N. Fourth Street, Hamburg, is owned by Our Town Foundation, located at 335 State Street in Hamburg. Our Town Foundation is a non-profit Community Revitalization Organization. All proceeds from this fundraising event will be used toward renovations to the theater.
Advanced purchase tickets are available online at www.hamburgstrand.org or in person at the Hamburg Strand Theater or at the Our Town Foundation office. Tickets will be $10 in advance or $12 at the door. This event is BYOB and all proceeds will be used for renovations to the theater.
