The next exhibit at Studio B, s pleased to announce the opening of “O’Suzannah!” featuring the artwork of artists whose first name is some form of “Susan.”
“I’ve been encouraging Susan Biebuyck, Studio B’s gallery director, to showcase her work in a solo show since we opened,” explained Jane Stahl, Director of Community Relations. “So when we realized a space in our 2017 schedule, it seemed a perfect time to encourage her again,” she continued. “Yet, concerned that she may not have time to create enough work for a solo show, she suggested the idea of inviting other ‘Sues’ to exhibit with her.”
“Then, when she realized the opening reception for the show would fall on St. Patrick’s Day, ‘O’Suzannah’ was born-in honor of her own Irish roots. Invitations went out to other Susans, Suzannes, Suzettes, and even a ‘Rhonda Sue,’ Stahl said. “We’re hopeful that folks will begin their celebration of the saint at Studio B to enjoy the artwork of this eclectic group.”
The exhibit opens March 17 with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. and runs until April 16, Studio B is located at 39A East Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown,
