The Boyertown Area Alumni Marching Unit (BAMU) will be presenting their Spring Concert on Saturday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at the Boyertown Junior High West, Donald J. Kuszyk Auditorium. The theme for this year’s concert is “Around the World in 80 Minutes or So” and will feature a variety of tunes. There’s something for everyone.

Along with the musical selections, several numbers will feature the band front. The officers for this year’s Marching Unit are Tom McHugh, President; Christian Allmendinger, 1st Vice President; Brian Schaeffer, 2nd Vice President; Deb Weiser, Secretary; Tim Simmons, Treasurer; Chris Yerger, Twirling Captain; Jennifer Nunan, Flag Captain; Bonnie Simmons, Rifle Captain; and Renee Almendinger, Rifle Co-Captain.

The Marching Unit is always looking for new members. Do you have an old instrument, baton, rifle, or flag stuffed in a closet somewhere? Why not dust it off and join us for some fun. Membership is open not only to graduates of Boyertown High School, but also other adults who now reside in the Boyertown Area School District. See any member for more information or contact Band Captain Dennis Weller at <weller4bamu@yahoo.com>.

Please join us for an evening of wonderful music at our Spring Concert. Tickets are $5.00 for Adults, $2.00 for Students, and No charge for children under 6 and can be purchased at the door.
