Six Flags Great Adventure celebrated National Roller Coaster Day by setting a new record, and it involves pajamas.
On Aug. 16, the theme park, located in Jackson, N.J., saw 167 fans show up in their super hero pajamas as part of its DC Summer of Super Heroes seasonal event.
According to a press release from the park, it took one hour for all riders to ride the park’s Batman ride in order to set the world record.
All participants received a certificate commemorating the record.
National Roller Coaster Day was first celebrated in 1986, according to the holiday’s website, when a national newspaper proclamed Aug. 16 as a holiday in conjunction with the year the first roller coaster was patented in the United States. The holiday is not sponsored by an particular theme park, according to the website.
