Get your walking shoes on and come visit historic Boyertown for our Fourth Friday Art Walk. The downtown merchants will provide you with art, music and food from 5-8 p.m. at 13 different venues on Friday, Aug. 25.
Participating businesses will also offer specials and refreshments throughout the evening. This is your opportunity to see the amazing and unique things that Boyertown’s small businesses and local artisans have to offer.
This month Colebrookdale Railroad will feature musician, Cliff Stakonis performing lyrical “story” songs in a country soulful-jazz style with blues sensibilities at the train station.
Some of the other participating artists and venues include: artist, Josh Nace at The Book Nook, along with 15 percent off used book purchases, Family Night for all ages and Open Mic at the Music Studio of Patricia Keith, and the art of relaxation will be the focus at Dancing Tree Creations Artisans’ Gallery & Studio with massage therapists Anna Ellis and Beth Hess. Patsy’s Potpourri of Gifts will host electric guitarist Douglass Cartwright while Jay’s Barber Shop will feature artist, Jean Esther.
Studio B Fine Art Gallery will have their opening of the Asia Pacific exhibit and Simply Sherry’s Bakery will feature photographer, Tammy Snyder doing pet portraits in the grassy area behind the bakery. Deal Me In Games will again feature potter, Anthony Romero, ceramic artist, Eric Moore and Building a Better Boyertown will host jeweler, Christine Wright and also showcase the new Tutouria walking tour aap. Joe Hoover, watercolor artist will be at The Peppermint Stick Candy Store along with watercolor sundaes for sale.
Spirit Holistic Center will have mixed media artist, Cassie Eshelman while Revive Consignment will host artist, Marybeth Huber and her upcycled fairy gardens. Please join us for a great evening.
Maps can be picked up at the Information Kiosk in the Train Yard on Philadelphia Avenue and also at each venue. The Boyertown Fourth Friday Art Walk runs from 5:00 – 8:00PM.
