Welcome to “Seven in Seven,” where each Friday we take a look at shows coming to the region over the next week. Whether your musical tastes are rock and roll, jazz, heavy metal, singer-songwriter or indie, there’ll always be something to check out in the coming days.

Here are seven of the best for the week beginning Sept. 17:

Outlaw Music Festival – Sept. 17 at BB&T Pavilion

Willie Nelson and Blackbird Presents are bringing the second leg of the 2017 “Outlaw Music Festival Tour” to Camden, and it’s a stacked bill. The once-in-a-lifetime lineup includes Willie Nelson & Family, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid – and that’s just for starters. In addition to a great night of music, the festival will feature a range of festival attractions to provide music fans in each city with more than just a concert experience.

Arcade Fire – Sept. 17 at the Wells Fargo Center

In the wake of a triumphant headline set closing out Lollapalooza last month, Arcade Fire’s fifth album Everything Now has entered the Billboard 200 in the top spot, with sales just shy of 100,000 since its release July 28 through an exclusive 360-degree partnership with global media and e-commerce platform Everything Now in synergy with the Sony Corporation. The record has also debuted at number one on the UK album chart. Now, the hip Canadian act is embarking on their own headlining tour, which kicked off in their home province of Quebec.

Ozone Squeeze – Sept. 17 at Sellersville Theater 1894

Consisting of Australian singer Rai Thistlethwayte, New York guitar virtuoso Oz Noy, and deep-grooving drummer Darren Stanley, Ozone Squeeze present a boldly personal vision of soul, funk, and R&B music on their self-titled debut album, which comes out two days before their show at the Sellersville Theater 1894. Bridging the emotional resonance of classic song forms with an exploratory impulse drawn from jazz and the outer limits of improvised music, the group is a compelling snapshot of a new band reveling in the moment – audibly enthralled with the wide-ranging potential of their collective dynamic.

Middle Kids – Sept. 19 at Johnny Brenda’s

While Australia’s Middle Kids were pulling together the six tracks that comprise their debut EP – songs that fall loosely under the indie-rock banner, yet incorporate a subtle alt-country flavor, an acute sense of melody and layers of complex emotion – their reputation on the live circuit locally and internationally was growing. A trip to America midway earlier this year saw them play Boot & Saddle, and this time around they are heading over to Fishtown for a show.

Alison Wonderland – Sept. 22 at Union Transfer

Based in Sydney Australia, Alison Wonderland is a classically trained cellist and world leading DJ and producer. She’s considered a pioneer and innovator of electronica, trap and future beats. Following on the heels of her hit single “Get Ready,” which featured Fishing, her Calm Down EP was released via Astralwerks in the States, racking up over two million streams on SoundCloud. The EP prefaced the huge success of her debut album, Run, which peaked at number six on the ARIA Charts and topped the iTunes electronic charts.

Quicksand – Sept. 22 at Union Transfer

Celebrated post-punk outfit Quicksand reunited in 2012 after more than a decade broken up. Finally, fans are getting some new music from them. November 10 will see the release of Interiors, their first album in 22 years. The record features the band’s original – and only – lineup of drummer Alan Cage, frontman/guitarist Walter Schreifels, bassist Sergio Vega, and guitarist Tom Capone. For a band that only has two albums under their belt to date, they’ve got an obsessively devoted audience, and if the new track, “Illuminant,” is any indication, they’re going to be pleased with the full LP.

The Crystal Method – Sept. 23 at Ardmore Music Hall

Over the past 20 years, the electronic musical landscape has continually merged, morphed, and matrixed, fractured in countless directions while intersecting at the most unexpected points. The genre underwent a renaissance in the early ’00s, rising out of the warehouses and blank spaces and overtaking the biggest festival fields in the world. The Crystal Method followed a similar trajectory since their formation in 1993. The platinum-certified trailblazing duo made up of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland set the stage for the genre-mashing electronic sounds that fuel the current scene. For the Ardmore show, the two will be doing a DJ set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut, Vegas.
