Coatesville International Vintage Grand Prix: In the spirit of auto and motorcycle racing through the streets and roads of towns across America, in the early days of auto racing, the 2017 Coatesville Invitational Vintage Grand Prix is an individually timed driving event, run over a 2.2-mile road course through the streets and neighborhoods of the City of Coatesville Sept. 23. Eastern State Penitentiary: Terror Behind the Walls runs select nights Sept. 22-Nov. 11. New Hope-Solebury High School: The annual New Hope Juried Arts & Crafts Festival will feature more than 160 local and national artists and craftspeople 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 24 at the school, 182 W. Bridge St., New Hope. Admission is $1. In addition to the artists market, the festival includes events for the whole family – from face painting to magician Evan Myles, to a children’s art tent, food court and a drawing to win tickets to the 2018 Bucks County Playhouse season.
Fairmount Park: CiderFest opens up six historic houses in the park for you to sip cider samples from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 30. Enjoy live music and pay-as-you-go food trucks. Riverfront Park: The second Pottstown Latin Festival is held noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 23 in the park at 140 College Drive, Pottstown. Highlights include live music, food, vendors and more. Admission is free.
Daniel Boone Homestead: From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 30, it’s a Heritage Day of colonial interpretation and demonstrations at the historic site at 400 Daniel Boone Road, Birdsboro. They will be cooking in the Boone House and baking in the Bertolet Bake Oven. American Heritage Chocolate (Mars) will be on site doing an 18th century chocolate demonstration.
