Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic, Kutztown, is proud to announce the addition of Mary Coughlin, VMD to our healthcare team. Dr. Coughlin has been practicing veterinary medicine for 9 years. She is a graduate of DeSales University and received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005.
‘We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Coughlin to our veterinary care team,’ said Dr. Annemarie Yoder, veterinarian and owner of Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic. ‘Dr. Coughlin is a very talented veterinarian who provides exceptional care for each of her patients. She embodies our hospital’s commitment to providing honest, high quality and progressive veterinary medicine.’
Dr. Coughlin has a special interest and further training in veterinary surgery. She will join Dr. Samuel Yoder in providing specialized, affordable surgical options for our community. Some of these surgeries include reconstructive knee surgery, tumor removals, ear and eye surgeries and many more.
Dr. Coughlin is also trained in ultrasonography and will expand the clinic’s capacity for providing this valuable diagnostic tool.
‘Dr. Coughlin understands that for many people, pets are an extension of their family. Thanks to this deep understanding, Dr. Coughlin brings a special touch to her veterinary care,’ said Dr. Yoder.
In her downtime, Dr. Coughlin loves spending time with her husband, Brian, and young son J.J. at their home in Breiningsville. She also competes with her horse Armani and has two dogs, Sugar, a black Labrador retriever, and Maggie, a Cairn terrier.
