Potts’ U in Kutztown celebrates Grand Opening, gives out nearly 200 free hot dogs

Kutztown >> Potts’ U held its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 20 and gave out nearly 200 free hot dogs.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Mayor Sandy Green and Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce representatives Ellen Overcast and Penny Oulds, along with owners Jeremiah and Lori Warsing.

Potts’ U on Constitution Blvd. in Kutztown served up its special blend of Berks hot dogs and Potts’ famous chili sauce, pulled pork sandwiches, soup, fries and pierogies.

“Our grand opening was a great way to introduce our hot dogs to the community,” says owner Jeremiah Warsing. “We are grateful to everyone that came out and celebrated with us. It was great to see returning customers and new faces.”

Potts’ U is open Monday through Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and open late night Thursday to Saturday until 3 a.m. Free delivery is also available by calling 484-648-2808.
