On Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 two engineering and consulting firms – McCarthy Engineering Associates, Inc. in Wyomissing and N.E. Fisher & Associates in Boyertown – joined forces. Owners – Neal Fisher and Jim McCarthy – believe that the merging of these two firms under one umbrella will create employee growth, technological advancements, improved business planning and development, and new opportunities for both companies and their employees.
Established in 1987, N.E. Fisher & Associates is a full/service Mechanical/Electrical Engineering firm that provides HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection engineering design services for commercial, institutional, industrial, educational, hospital/medical, retail, residential, and religious facilities. With its broad base of experience, N.E. Fisher has worked on everything from small studies and simple renovations to
multimillion dollar high/tech construction, such as clean rooms, research labs, theaters, and energy conservation projects.
McCarthy Engineering Associates, Inc., established in 2000, is an award/winning civil engineering, land surveying, and land planning firm that specializes in land and site development. From civil engineering, subdivision, and land development to structural design and land surveying, McCarthy Engineering provides all the services needed for commercial and industrial development, waste water, structural design, and water resource.
