Pottstown SCORE is offering two learning opportunities in October. All workshops are free and are held at the SCORE office at 244 High Street in Pottstown (free parking, entrance at the rear of the building). Registration for these seminars is requested.

The first seminar, “The Entrepreneurial Equation,” will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. This program is presented by Bonnie Thompson and Edward Jones.

Are you a business owner? If so, you probably have your hands full minding day-to-day activities. The second seminar, “Mobile Apps for Small Businesses,” will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The presenter for this program will be David Akers of LMS Solutions, Inc.

How can small businesses take advantage of this platform to attract new customers, connect with current customers and drive increased sales? This session provides you with the information you need to know to make educated decisions, allowing you to effectively integrate mobile into your marketing strategy.

Attendees of this seminar will learn the following: Why you need to be mobile, what is a Mobile App, mobile trends and statistics, mobile marketing options for small businesses and affordable options for small businesses.
