Honey Brook Hardware in Honey Brook moved to a bigger location in October 2015.
Owners father and son Aaron and Leon King opened the hardware store in 2009 at 550 Compass Road, Honey Brook, filling a need for a local hardware store.
“We like giving people friendly service that you don’t find in the big box stores,” said Leon.
They opened their new, bigger store at 5004 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook in October 2015. The new store has about 12,000 square feet compared to the old store’s approximate 3,000 square feet.
“We were tight for space over there. It was getting a little too small for us,” said Leon. “(The new store location) gives us more room to display more products.”
Services include small engine fills and service, general hardware, lawn and garden supplies, and Stihl outdoor power products.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
