Weis Markets celebrated the Grand Reopening of its remodeled store on at 15260 Kutztown Road in Kutztown on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m.

The store has an expanded natural and organics section as well as updated deli, bakery and seafood departments. A 30-seat beer cafe with more than 900 varieties of local craft beers, including those brewed by Weybacher, Victory and Saucony Creek opened in July. Customers can create their own six packs and beer can be purchased for takeout or on site consumption.

At the Grand Reopening celebration, the store made $500 donations to three local organizations: the Kutztown Fire Company, Kutztown Optimist Club and the Kutztown Historical Society.
