Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage celebrated the opening of its new Kutztown office at 7 South Kemp Road with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 23.

Company leaders, affiliated sales associates, staff and other invited guests, including the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, attended the outdoor celebratory reception that was catered by Spuds Food Truck of Kutztown. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the office that serves about 15 affiliated independent sales associates, assistants and staff.

Kutztown branch managers Arlene Parisi and Ed Jenkins explained how the new office came to be in Kutztown.

“In the last couple of years we’ve been researching an area in Northeast Berks County trying to be close to the Allentown market also. We also have some agents that live in this area that do a lot of business so to service their clients, to provide settlement services, that sort of thing, we needed an office here,” explained Jenkins. “This was a perfect location for us here in Kutztown.”

Jenkins said Kutztown is a microcosm of business in real estate partially because of the college.

“It’s a niche area,” he said.Parisi agreed.

“It’s a nice gateway into the Allentown community which is a bedroom community to New York City. So we found a lot of opportunity here in Northeastern Berks,” said Parisi. “We love Kutztown. It’s a college town. It’s a nice close knit group of people. We have agents who have grown up here and are very close with the community and owners. We’re just happy to be a part of the Kutztown community.”

“We were fortunate that this property became available. We like it because of its easy access for customers so we think it’ll provide good service,” said Jenkins.

“Great visibility,” added Parisi.

“I think what is incredible is what Ed and Arlene have done in the Wyomissing area and took our Coldwell Banker services and really took all that opportunity and placed it into Kutztown to be able to give that same service to the surrounding neighborhood and community,” said Quentin Miller, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Central Pennsylvania. “We’re very excited about being in Kutztown and the opportunity to help buyers and sellers here in the local community.”

The Kutztown office is a new branch of Coldwell Banker.

“This is an expansion for us,” said Miller.

“It’s a national brand. It’s probably the only national brand in town as far as real estate services,” said Jenkins. “We do a lot of relocation through Cartus Relocation Services.”

Jenkins wants the community to know that Coldwell Banker is here for them.

“We’re here to help them walk through the process of buying and selling a home with all the tools that we have to offer and the exceptional services I believe our agents provide to the consumers,” said Miller.

“We’re here. We want to get to know them better,” said Parisi. “Come visit us.”
