Snow geese feed in an open field in Bally over the weekend.
According to a spokesman for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the migratory birds are currently moving from their winter homes in Virginia and North Carolina back to Canada and Alaska. These birds normally stop at Middle Creek Wildlife Refugee in Lebanon County, however since that lake is frozen over, they have been seen in areas they don’t normally visit, looking for food and water.
