Join us for the annual Christmas tree lighting, a holiday parade, visits with Santa, children’s activities, hand-made crafts, art displays, musical entertainment, and much more. Hosted by The Bridge Church, Our Town Foundation, Hamburg Area Business Association & Hamburg Lion’s Club.

Located in Downtown Hamburg on Dec. 6 and 7. The event is free and open to the public.

Schedule of events:

Friday, Dec. 6

7p.m.: Tree Lighting at 4th & Pine Municipal Lot

Music performed by: Wings, the Hamburg Area Middle School Choral Ensemble, and The Bridge Church Choir. There will be complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

Saturday, Dec. 7

9a.m.: Christmas Parade, presented by Hamburg Business Association and the Hamburg Lion’s Club

9a.m.-12noon: Christmas Bazaar at Bethany United Methodist Church located at 321 Island Street

9:30a.m.-12noon: Santa’s workshop, presented by the Hamburg Business Association and the Hamburg Lion’s Club

10a.m.-4p.m.: Exhibit: “Trains, Trees, and Gingerbread” at the Reading Railroad Heritage Museum located at 500 South 3rd Street (admission rates apply)

11a.m.-12p.m.: Dinorific Poetry reading and book signing by author Michael Sgrignoli

11a.m.-3p.m. – Artisans & crafters housed inside storefronts and on the sidewalks

11a.m.-3p.m. – Free Children’s crafts run by Salem Church and CONCERN Counseling Services at 313 State Street

12p.m.-3p.m. – Wine & Cheese Tasting in the Gallery of Hamburg, featuring Long Trout Winery

2p.m.-3:15p.m. – Andulhea Heritage Choir performance at St. John’s Lutheran Church

4p.m. – Classic Christmas Favorite: Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer at the Hamburg Strand Theater, runtime: 53 minutes (free admission)

5p.m. – Classic Christmas Favorite: Frosty the Snowman at the Hamburg Strand Theater, runtime: 25 minutes (free admission)

All weekend long
