So we are about to plunge headlong into 2014. I still haven’t accomplished all I wanted to do for 2013! The year wasn’t quite a washout though. Working the stages at the Oley Bark for Life and The Turning Leaf Fall Festival featuring old friends like Jeremy Simons, Yolanda Spohn, Christopher Langiotti, the guys in Black Hat Boris and Hillbilly Shakespeare is always a good time. I also got to, meet some new folks like Steve, Ami and Val at Listen Live, Nate of Go Commando fame and the guys in Levi Bone, watch and cheer on Stephanie Grace as she continues her rise toward stardom and jammed (maybe not as well as I would have liked but jammed non the less) with the likes of Steve Carlisle, Chris Dietz and Steve Walker. Thanks guys, I had a BLAST! I only got to help out a little over at Listen Live Music, hopefully, that will change for 2014. I can only speculate at what else might be coming at us in 2014. There are quite a few shows already lined up at the Santander properties that have people buzzing, locally places like The State Theater (Boyertown), The Other Farm Brewing Company and Cigars International (Hamburg) are constant in their scheduling of solid shows and hopefully their popularity will continue to grow in the new year. Here’s to hoping that Santa fills all your stockings with music! Happy Holidays!
