Hunting? Fishing? The Great Outdoors? Whatever your passion, you’re sure to love the 2nd Annual Sportsmen’s Banquet at Salem EC Church on Saturday, March 8.
This year’s event will include vendors appealing to various outdoor interests, as well as home decor and other items for sale. While parents browse, children will be able to try their hand at an indoor archery range. Vendor displays will be open for browsing in the gymnasium, beginning at 4 p.m.
At 6 p.m., attendees will gather in the church’s fellowship hall for a delicious, home-cooked buffet meal. Following the meal, adults will hear an inspirational message by Bruce Hill, outdoorsman and bishop of Evangelical Congregational church. Youngsters will gather in another area to ‘Explore God’s Creation’ with Jesse Rothacker of Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary. This program will be interactive and feature over a dozen live snakes, lizards, turtles and crocs.
Tickets to the 2nd Annual Sportsmen’s Banquet are available for adults and children (ages 4-10) for a cost. Children age 3 and under can attend for free. Limited vendor space is still available. For tickets or more information, please contact the church by calling 610.562.5033 or emailing wearesalem@comcast.net.
