Salem EC Church holds second Sportsmen's Banquet on March 8

Hunting? Fishing? The Great Outdoors? Whatever your passion, youíre sure to love the 2nd Annual Sportsmenís Banquet at Salem EC Church on Saturday, March 8.

This yearís event will include vendors appealing to various outdoor interests, as well as home decor and other items for sale. While parents browse, children will be able to try their hand at an indoor archery range. Vendor displays will be open for browsing in the gymnasium, beginning at 4 p.m.

At 6 p.m., attendees will gather in the churchís fellowship hall for a delicious, home-cooked buffet meal. Following the meal, adults will hear an inspirational message by Bruce Hill, outdoorsman and bishop of Evangelical Congregational church. Youngsters will gather in another area to ďExplore Godís CreationĒ with Jesse Rothacker of Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary. This program will be interactive and feature over a dozen live snakes, lizards, turtles and crocs.

Tickets to the 2nd Annual Sportsmenís Banquet are available for adults and children (ages 4-10) for a cost. Children age 3 and under can attend for free. Limited vendor space is still available. For tickets or more information, please contact the church by calling 610.562.5033 or emailing
