Boyertown to hold public planetarium shows

A Starwatch is slated for March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Boyertown Planetarium. The program looks at the different sky events for March including how to use a star map. If the weather is clear, participants will go outside to view the wonders of the night sky. If it is cloudy there will be an extended planetarium program.

Admission to the planetarium is $4 for adults and $2.50 for students and children. The planetarium is located in the back of the building at the Junior High East Center on route 73. For more information call director Peter Detterline at 610-473-3906.

The planetarium is also be hosting a Stars of Spring event.

Celebrate the first day of Spring with a trip to the Boyertown Planetarium to see its star show, The Stars of Spring. On March 20, at 7 p.m., the program will be a portrayal of the season complete with constellation mythologies, storytelling and the wonders of the night sky.
