Chestnut Knoll Personal Care and Memory Care invites the community to their 5th Annual ‘Making Memories to Save Memories’ Beef & Beer fundraiser, benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. This event will be held Saturday, April 12 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Keystone Fire Company, located at 240 Walnut St., Boyertown.

‘We have been able to raise a total of over $122,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association and I am so proud of our accomplishments,’ said Shawn Barndt, executive director. ‘Our team goal for 2014 is to raise $17,000 and we can do it with the help of the community and various fundraisers this year. We strive to do everything we can to help our residents who suffer from Alzheimer’s and we’re proud to work with the Alzheimer’s Association to bring new information to our community to help support our residents and family members and we’re thrilled to donate to such a great cause.’

Dinner includes beef, beer, soda and snacks. Jam on Sounds DJ will provide entertainment, along with unlimited use of our photo booth and there will be many door prizes, a Chinese raffle, silent auction, and a live auction by Huyett’s Auctioneering, which holds a variety of items. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association!

The Beef & Beer fundraiser is open to the public; however, tickets are limited. Tickets cost $30 per person and are available at Chestnut Knoll, 120 W. 5th St., Boyertown. For more information, contact Shawn Barndt, by phone at 610-473-8066, or by email at sbarndt@chestnutknoll.com.
