Comedian Dave Goldstein whose stage act has been praised by The New York Post (“...funny”) and The Asbury Park Press (“...his comic star is on the rise!”) will appear at the historic SunnyBrook Ballroom on Friday, June 13. It will be a homecoming of sorts for Goldstein who first performed publicly at 13 as a guest of disc jockey New Orleans Slick on WFEC in his former hometown of Harrisburg.
Goldstein has been heard on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, opened a theater tour for legend Dennis Miller, handled the audience warm-up for Drew Carey’s CBS TV show The Power of Ten, and been read on the Sports Illustrated website.
His comedy has taken him across the world including a tour of U.S. Army posts in Europe. In the summer of 2013, he was the comedian and auctioneer for the Ubuntu Art Exhibit benefiting the Nelson Mandela Legacy Fund for the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Washington DC.
“I’ve been privileged to make my living as a comic for years but working SunnyBrook, with its history, is the kind of gig I love doing,” commented Goldstein.
