Brandywine Community LibraryUntil Aug. 16 Adult Summer Reading Club: Complete a library BINGO card and submit it to be eligible for weekly raffles for summer reading tote bags and t-shirts. For each BINGO card returned, receive one ‘adult Beaker Buck’ which can be used towards purchases in our used book store, copies, printouts or fines. (Lost or damaged item fees are not eligible). Ages 18 and up (or graduated from High School). Two GRAND PRIZE winners receive either a $50 Amazon gift card, or a $50 gift card to The White Palm Restaurant in Topton.

Free Program On ‘Super-Foods.’ The Lutheran Home at Topton hosts free public seminar on ‘super-foods, super simple.’ Live cooking demonstration 2 p.m. on July 15, on the Topton campus, presented by Morrison Senior Living Chef Greg Cordova. ‘The focus is on creating a variety of healthy foods that are easy to make.’ Samples available.
