Dale Yeager, nephew of a former POW and Kunto Martial Arts Authority, is also a Criminal Analyst where he worked on a high profile murder case in Boulder, CO. He will speak on ‘Remembering Bataan And The South Pacific Islands In WWII.’

July 21Meet Christ The Saviour Orthodox Church. Father Stephen Vernak, pastor of Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, talks about his congregation 7 p.m. in chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. Part of retirement community’s annual Meet the Congregations lecture series, theme is pre-Reformation congregations. In 1054, the Great Schism separated the Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches. The first Orthodox Christian mission to America arrived in Alaska in 1794. Established in January 1963, Christ the Saviour was the first Orthodox Church in Harrisburg. It has grown from a few dedicated families to hundreds.
