Clay on Main has announced an Ice Cream Social and Open House on Saturday, July 19, from 12 to 3 p.m. at its studio.
The open house will feature free demonstrations of the pottery wheel, hand building, and tile making, children’s craft activities, a holiday open house preview, music in the Half Moon Cafe, and information on studio classes, workshops, and events.
Artwork by Oley Senior High School students is currently on exhibition in the studio gallery. Clay on Main members will be giving tours of the studio throughout the afternoon.
Participants can also purchase a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowl in which to create their own ice cream sundae.
Clay on Main is a non-profit artists’ cooperative, located at 313 Main St in the historic village of Oley.
