There are only 150 days until Christmas.
Did that get your heart pounding a little faster? Did it make you wonder why anyone would want to think of Christmas in the middle of a heat wave?
We ask you: Why not think of Christmas? A time has come to shop for your friends, family and most importantly yourself.
Gilbertsville Fire Company will be holding a craft show featuring various vendors on Saturday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be more than 80 tables of Christmas and holiday-ready vendors and crafters. This is a chance to support local small business owners and crafters.
At the show, community members will have the chance to give back to the community by donating a pair of new pajamas to The PJ Project—a mission reportedly organized by a local 15-year-old with a goal to make sure everyone is warm and comfortable during the winter months. All sizes children and adult and all styles of pajamas are accepted and appreciated.
Relay for Life of Boyertown as well as Jessica Bailey and her “2smooth” mobile water ice cart will be on hand to make things a little sweeter and little cooler with Root Beer Floats and baked goods.
Bark for Life of Boyertown/Oley will be there wrapping up those gifts so folks can forget what they bought and be truly surprised Christmas morning.
