Brandywine Community Library is celebrating their 25th Anniversary with two special events. On Saturday, September 6, from 10 am – 12 noon, the library will hold a free birthday bash for children. Children will be able to enjoy cake, balloons, gifts, clown, crafts, storytime and face painting. This event is free but registration is encouraged for planning purposes.

And, for the grown-ups: The Friends of the Library will host a 25th Anniversary Dinner Dance on Saturday, September 20th at the Henry Auditorium on the Lutheran Home campus in Topton. The keynote speaker is our community alumni, Wendy Davis, anchor WFMZ News. Entertainment provided by DJ Marcus Dolny of Heart of Sound entertainment and dinner provided by Morrison Catering. The event will take place from 6-9 and conclude with our traditional quilt drawing. Doors open at 5:30pm. Tickets are $50. Tickets are limited and may be purchased at the library, or from one of the library board members.
