Get some fresh air and have a healthy season! Join St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chestnut Knoll Personal Care and Memory Care, the Boyertown Lions Club, the Rotary Club, and the Kiwanis Club for an Intergenerational Walk in the Park on Saturday, September 6 at 10 a.m.

Summer isn’t over yet-you still have time to get outside and get walking! Meet us at the Campbell Pavilion in the Boyertown Community Park and join us as we walk the trail. The walking trail is handicap-accessible and we invite all ages to participate. Children are encouraged to attend, as long as they have adult supervision. Walks will continue monthly; the next one is scheduled for October 4. Healthy snacks are provided.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church leads the walk and it is sponsored by the Boyertown Lions Club, Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, St. John’s, and Chestnut Knoll. All of the organizations contribute to the monthly walks to make each one a success.

Chestnut Knoll can pick you up for the walk; however, you must reserve a ride in advance. For more information or to reserve a ride to the park, please call 610-473-8066.
