I-105 radio personality Casey Allyn, will be signing copies of her newest cookbook at this year’s Oley Community Fair on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The book, compiled each year, is comprised from the hundreds of recipes Allyn receives from listeners. She searches through and tries many before selecting the best for print.
The twenty-third installment of Cooking with Casey will be given away for free and offers more than fifty pages of an eclectic mix of local’s favorite recipes, everything from breakfasts and chilies to desserts. Highly collected by fans of the WIOV-FM the cookbook’s theme this year is “Truck Drivers.”
For forty-five years Pennsylvania’s County Leader I-105 has played the country hits people love and will broadcast live from the fair during the book signing event. Allyn who is very well known in the community for supporting local charities and businesses has been delighting folks for the past fifteen years co-hosting the Murph and Casey Morning Show and can also often be found acting at the Rainbow Dinner Theatre.
Both the Oley Community Fair and I-105 would like to welcome everyone out for a chance to meet Allyn and collect the latest edition of Cooking with Casey.
