Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 30 Liberty Street, Shillington, will host one of the season’s first craft fairs on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the Berks Food Bank.

Enter “Crafting with Grace” from the Liberty Street entrance.

This craft fair boasts 25 local artisans and crafters and offers various handcrafted items for shoppers seeking a head start on Halloween costumes, fall and holiday decorations, gifts and clothing for all ages and other useful locally produced crafted items.

There is no entrance fee but fair goers are encouraged to bring a donation for the food bank (non-perishable goods or cash).

All products are handcrafted and include wooden toys and outdoor decorations, jewelry, decorative paper items, fabric purses, baby and children’s items, photographs, doll clothes, silk scarves, calligraphy, lighted glass blocks, snowmen, wine decor, Christmas stockings, quilled and crocheted items, home-made fudge and other home decorations.

Fair goers can also purchase pizza, home-made soups, sloppy Joes, hot dogs and apple dumplings at the fair as long as supplies last.

Door prizes provided by the crafters will be drawn throughout the day. Every craft fair attendee will have one opportunity to place a door prize slip into a jar upon arrival. Prize winners need not be present to win, but those who are present can chose from the available items.

The church is visible from the intersection of Routes 222 and 724 in the heart of Shillington, behind the M&T Bank.
