There will be an opportunity to participate in fundraising for the Colebrookdale Railroad on Sept. 26, when the railroad will join forces with the Historic State Theater of Boyertown for a historic ‘Evening of Entertainment.’
It will feature with live period music from the Roaring 20s and Jazz Age; a special short film from the turn of the century and a live auction and fundraising raffle.
According to the theatre’s website, ‘The New York Jazz Repertory Ensemble is a group of New York Studio and Jazz musicians dedicated to recreating classic Jazz performances as well as promoting the creation of new works in the Jazz, Funk and Latin-Jazz idioms.’
The evening’s band is will include Bill Warfield on trumpet, Rich Nasto on clarinet and sax, Tim Harrison on piano, Gene Perla on bass and Scott Neumann on drums, as well as a few other guest artists.
