November & December2014 Holiday Train Room Open House at Garden Spot Village: Members of the Garden Spot Village Train Club invite families and train enthusiasts to the annual model railroad exhibit open house, which will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the following Saturdays: Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13, Dec. 20 and Dec. 27. The Train Room features an O-gauge display as well as an HO-gauge layout with more than 600 feet of main line track. Highlights include a talking Thomas the Tank Engine, which is always popular with young visitors, and a wireless video camera that offers an engineer’s-eye view of the HO layout on a wall-mounted, 55-inch color monitor. Since 2004, the Train Room Open House at Garden SpotVillage has been a holiday favorite with train enthusiasts of all ages.Garden Spot Village is located at 433 S. Kinzer Ave. in New Holland.
