2014 Holiday Train Room Open House at Garden Spot Village: Garden Spot Village Train Club invite public to annual model railroad exhibit open house, 1:30 to 4 p.m. Dec. 27. Train Room features an O-gauge display as well as an HO-gauge layout with more than 600 feet of main line track. Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Narvon Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: 7 p.m. singing of Christmas carols and lighting of candles to celebrate the birth of Jesus as the Light of the world. Pastor Harry Kaufhold will bring a message on “Lookin’ For Love”. Music under the direction of Joe Liptock, music director at the church and leader of the country western band “Green Tea Revival.” Prior to worship is presentation of instrumental music “Sounds of the Season” at 6:45 p.m. Following worship refreshments served in the fellowship hall. “Miracles of Christmas” theme of two Christmas Eve Services: Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, 5 and 7 p.m. Christmas carols, true stories of Christmas miracles, a choreographed children’s processional, and selections from Handel’s Messiah. The service will culminate with the “lighting” of glow candles. This is a service whole family will enjoy, no child care. Sign interpretation provided at 5 p.m. service and Spanish translation at 7 p.m. service. Community warmly invited.

His outlook begins to change after he arrests a man who claims to be Santa Claus and another who steals the baby Jesus from a Nativity scene so he can spend the night in the warmth of the jailhouse.
