The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead are offering an exciting and thrilling Halloween-themed, guided, walking tour of the historic area, Bertolet Log House, and Boone House.

Tours will be held Friday & Saturday, Oct. 23 & 24, from 7 to 9 p.m.

You never know what you might encounter along the way – colonial highwaymen looking for a prisoner, a witches’ lair, and maybe even a distraught Hessian soldier from beyond the grave. You don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to see the Homestead “after hours” and witness all its creepy happenings as night falls.

Tours will begin in the Wayside Lodge, transformed into an eerie haunted house, and last approximately 45 minutes. While you wait for your tour to begin, enjoy Halloween-themed baked goods from the Friends’ Bake Sale. Admission: $6.00. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Combination tickets available for Halloween at the Homestead the next day – free adult admission to Halloween at the Homestead on Sunday, October 25 with Haunted Homestead Tour ticket (must bring at least one child to Halloween at the Homestead to receive free admission). This event is run by the Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead. Please no pets and no smoking. Call 610-582-4900 or visit <www.danielboonehomestead.org> for more information.
