Boyertown Area Multi-Service will be hosting the Ninth Annual Festival of Trees on Friday, Dec. 4. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Center at Spring Street, 200 West Spring Street in Boyertown.

Admission to Festival of Trees is free, the event is open to the public and is also a stop on the Boyertown Holiday House Tour. The Center at Spring Street bus will be assisting the Boyertown Holiday House Tour by providing transportation, but you do not need to be participating in the Holiday House Tour to attend the Festival of Trees event.

Event attendees can look forward to strolling through a beautiful array of Christmas trees and enjoying delicious refreshments while they listen to sounds of the season presented by local musicians. Throughout the evening, visitors will have the opportunity to win a door prize and to purchase raffle tickets for chances to win a completely decorated tree of their choice or an original Christmas tree portrait by Julie Longacre. Tickets will be 3 raffle tickets for $1 or 20 tickets for $5. The tree receiving the most raffle tickets will receive a prize as “Event Favorite”.

The Festival of Trees is a magnificent holiday event that has grown throughout the years with approximately 1,200 in attendance in 2014! Each year, trees are donated and decorated by friends of Multi-Service — individuals, families, businesses, clubs and organizations.

For over 40 years, Boyertown Area Multi-Service, Inc. has provided resources and services to meet human and community needs throughout our 211 square mile service area within Southeastern Berks and Northern Montgomery Counties.

The Center at Spring Street is a program for 55+ offering many program activities and services, as well as a hot, nutritious lunch prepared on-site every weekday by our talented Chef and Prep Chef. The Center offers individuals a place to socialize, participate in recreational activities, take part in various classes and explore new hobbies.

As we continue to experience the very difficult Pennsylvania budget impasse, by participating in this annual fundraising event, contributions and proceeds will allow Multi-Service to continue providing quality programs and services to the community.

Please join Multi-Service for this beautiful fundraising event as a wonderful way to ring in the holiday season! If you are interested in supporting Multi-Service through this event, please call 610-367-6957.
