The 46th Belsnickel Craft Show will be presented at Boyertown Junior High West and Boyertown Elementary School, 380 Madison Street, Boyertown. These adjacent venues continue as our Show location due to the two-year renovation of Boyertown Senior High School.
The Belsnickel was first started as a way to preserve historic crafts that were a necessary part of life. Forty-six years later the show carries on that tradition. The 2016 Show features the creative efforts of over 135 juried craft people, many members of regional and state guilds. There are a wide variety of handmade crafts available from broom making and basketry to weaving and wood working. The show also includes gourmet food products, textiles, glass art, jewelry making, floral designs, toys, body products, and much more. There are both modern and traditional interpretations, with about 3,500 people attending this annual event.
The Belsnickel will be held on Friday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the adjacent Boyertown Junior High West and Boyertown Elementary School. There is a $5.00 admission charge/plenty of free parking/shuttle provided for convenience. The Belsnickel supports the educational, genealogical, and preservation activities of the Boyertown Area Historical Society. Please join us at the 46th Der Belsnickel Craft Show.
