The Friends of Mifflin Community Library Second Annual Garden Tour is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, from 10-3 p.m. The tour will be held rain or shine.
Community members are invited to visit and enjoy six unique gardens in Cumru and Brecknock townships (southwestern Berks County). Special features at select stops will include craft sales, live music, a low-priced plant sale, garden experts and more.
To purchase a ticket/self-guided garden tour brochure, stop by Mifflin Community Library (6 Philadelphia Ave., Shillington) or at Stein’s Flowers (32 State Street, Shillington). Cost for all ages is $18 beginning June 18. Tickets will also available on Garden Tour Day at the 4145 New Holland Road tour stop. For additional information, contact the library at 610-777-3911.
