The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead will be holding their second annual Christkindlmarket at the Daniel Boone Homestead on Dec. 8 and Dec. 9 from 4-9 p.m. The site will be decorated with Christmas lights and greens and will feature local crafters selling their hand-crafted wares, concessions, wine tasting, raffles, warming fires and traditional holiday music, and a visit from the Belsnickel. A German Christmas, as seen through the eyes of the DeTurk family, will delight visitors as they visit the historic house.
Admission is $7 per adult; 12 and under are free. The Homestead will again be working in conjunction with Joanna Furnace and a combination ticket will be available for admission to Christmas at Joanna and the Christkindlmarket at Boone for the price of $10.00 per adult.
