Dec. 7Lions Club: The Boyertown Lions Club will hold their dinner meeting at the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Co., S. Reading & Warwick St., Boyertown at 6:30 p.m. This is the monthly board meeting. Our guest this evening will be Stephen Wagner, District Governor 14P. This is the only meeting for December.

Live Nativity: Oley Valley Mennonite Church for a live Nativity. There will be a presentation at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Join in singing Christmas carols, enjoy live animals, warm fellowship and delicious refreshments. The church is located at 1571 Memorial Highway Oley.

Cookie Walk and Soup Sale: To be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. by the Doe Club at the Elks Lodge 61 E. High St. Pottstown. Public Welcome!

Dec. 10Bingo: Saint Francis Academy School, 7th & Pine Street. Doors open at 11 a.m. Bingo starts at 12:30 p.m. Food available for purchase for more information call Janice at 610-987-8851. Proceeds benefit Most Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Francis Academy.

Wonders of Christmas Open House: To be held by Huff’s Church from 2:45-5 p.m. Informal Drop-in runs from 2:45-3:30 p.m. Program includes Children’s Choir, Live Nativity, Christmas Carols with 1852 Organ. 3:30-5 p.m. Refreshments & Wonders of Christmas Displays including Antique Music Box, Christmas Pyramids, Miniature Snow Village, Manger Scenes. Refreshments & Displays open only after Program. Snow date is Dec. 17.

Dec. 12AARP: The New Hanover AARP Annual Christmas Luncheon will be at 12:00 noon at the New Hanover Lutheran Church, Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville. Entertainment will be The Boyertown Senior High School Show Choir. This event is for members only-reservations required in advance.

Dec. 24Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Bally Mennonite Church will host a special service of scripture and carols, as we reflect on the birth of Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. A morning worship service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
