The skies will be filled with bright colors and many varieties of kites for the 31st annual “Go Fly a Kite! Day” on Saturday, April 28 from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Youth Recreation Facility in Bern Township.

The festival is once again combined with a county-wide Healthy Kids Day organized by our local YMCAs with health and wellness information and screenings, healthy food, and games. The Youth Recreational Facility complex will be filled with activities for young and young-at-heart.

Admission and parking is free, with overflow parking available at the Berks Career and Technology West Campus (across the street).

“Go Fly a Kite! Day and Healthy Kids Day” is presented by the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department and the YMCA of Reading & Berks County.
